Shinya Kimura "oil pressure check"
Shinya Kimura
Shinya Kimura and Yoshimasa Niimi lost a main bushing during stage 11 of the New York to San Fran 2012 Cannonball. We bumped into him in Mountain Home Idaho. One thing led to another and soon Shinya and team were in our shop tearing the bike apart. The 1915 Indian was torn down to it's cases. With the amazing help of Mark Collins and Pat Benson we were able to weld up/machine the cases and build two new bushings. While waiting for Pat to machine the cases - wheel bearings (check out the photo of cracked in half bearing) were replaced and a stripped magneto mounting point were corrected. From tear down to waving goodbye - we were able to enjoy Shinya, Ayu, and Yoshi's company for 23 hours. I think about three were for sleep.

Grant Full Face
My daughter picked up this Grant Full Face Helmet at a charity yard sale she was working at. She thought I "might" like it. Totally reminds me of Bubba's Bell Star - at least I think his silver helmet is a Bell Star
